It's been a very long time since I've posted any content here. I had been very busy with work, a toddler, the crazy commute and as you can see I was also busy making a baby. This picture was taken at work on my last day before I was off on maternity leave. I worked up until 39 weeks, at this point you can throw fashion out the window and opt for clothes that is beyond comfortable, you won't really care, at least I didn't. Anything that stretches and is comfy is all you need. Black is slimming, but you still can't hide the bump. So my last day at work was on 5/8 and my repeat Cesarean section was scheduled for 5/12 at 8:30 a.m. which this year fell Mother's Day so it was extra special to be receiving a new baby girl that day. Thankfully, everything went as planned and she was born healthy with a great set of lungs at 9:09 am weighing 6 lbs 7.8 oz and 19" tall. my Ob doctor was awesome. She was my doctor from beginning to end of this pregnancy so I was pretty lucky. In my first pregnancy I was seen by an OB, a midwife, RN's you name it, felt I was tossed around in the system (lol!) and the day of delivery I didn't see any of them not even my own doctor, my labor didn't progress and ended up in a c-section as well. Needless to say... 2 babies later and 6 weeks after the birth of my 2nd baby girl, I'm just now starting to feel like I am getting my strength back, the urge to shop (which I shouldn't be doing) and happy I can fit into my regular clothes. Recovery from a c-section plus a toddler in the mix is not that easy. I will soon be posting on a regular basis. ;)
You made pregnancy look good!
